In this example, the business enterprise is acting as supplier of an OEM product to Customer A. This is a reverse of the previous example, so now the business enterprise product and resource core processes are in lockstep with Customer A's product core processes.

The business enterprise is now an OEM supplier partner, and must design and produce its product in synchronization with Customer A's product lifecycle schedule.

For the business enterprise, Customer A may be only one of several customers, each of whom may or may not require an OEM partnership arrangement.
