Suppose we want to see how the Product Package Order function fits into the enterprise business structure.

We know that the "Product Package" spells out what the enterprise will provide to the customer. It consists of a specification for the basic physical product (or service) plus whatever else is included in the sales agreement, such as an instruction manual, warranty, spare parts, training course, shipment to the customer's site, etc. A "Product Package ORDER" is a directive to provide that product (or service) to a particular customer.

We will now show how this function relates to the rest of the business, by visualizing it in the context of the Integrated Model Product Framework.
