The Organization View shows how duties and responsibilities of an Organization Unit are defined in terms of business functions. A given Organization Unit is responsible for one of more business functions.

Organization Unit responsibility for a business function has two parts. The first part is to direct the work to be done by assigning work targets (when, how much, quality). The second part is to allocate the resources needed to accomplish that work (facilities, equipment, employees).

All three views (system, core process and organization) must be present for the work of the business enterprise to be visualized.
